09-11-09 A mix of Year 5 and 6 pupils participated with enthusiasm in a tag rugby festival held at Maiden Castle.
02-11-09 Boys and girls from Years 5 and 6 have qualified for the Durham City Finals of the Sportshall Athletics Championships 2009-10. Each competitor takes part in two running events, one throwing and one jumping event. Well done and best of luck to them for the finals.
23-10-09 Thank you to all the parents/carers who came to the Year 3/4 coffee afternoon. We hope you enjoyed the entertainment as well as the refreshments.
22-10-09 The football team finished 4th in the school league and have qualified for the new league in February. Well done and thank you to Mr Butler for his help.
21-10-09 Year 3 had a lovely day at Binchester Roman Fort. They learned more about how Romans lived and made their own Roman Pots.
07-10-09 NEW SCHOOL BUILDING.
Durham County Council's Cabinet met today to reconsider their original decision to rebuild Esh Winning Primary School on land in the centre of the village.
The decision has been made to rebuild the school on the current Junior building site. It will still incorporate the library and community facilities.
I know that many of you will be delighted at this news, and we look forward to having a wonderful new school in the beautiful and unique setting the existing site offers.
