Today all the children received a letter regarding the temporary closure of the school. This is so preperations can be made for the move, and to ensure the new building is ready for teaching purposes when the doors open for the children.The dates of closure are Wednesday 28th March, Thursday 29th March, Friday 30th March, Monday 16th April and Tuesday 17th April. Wednesday 18th April will be used as an opportunity for parents/carers and pupils to visit the new school before the children start properly on Thursday 19th April. Further information regarding times of visits will follow at a later date.

Due to the industrial action that is taking place on Wednesday 30th November, the school will be closed. We will be open as normal the following day, Thursday 1st December.

Y5 had a fantastic day at Beamish Open Air Museum. Not sure if they would like to go to a Victorian school anytime soon though!
