I am the mother of two boys, Joe who is 12 and attended Esh Winning Primary school from 2007 until 2015 and Harry.
I wanted to be a governor as I am passionate about the local community, my family has lived in Esh Winning for over 50 years and I had a real desire to make a personal contribution to helping the local school for the benefit of the children of Esh Winning.
I have an interest in all aspects of education but particularly Maths, having worked in finance for most of my career and currently in Resources Finance, for Durham County Council. I have excellent planning and organisation skills and experience in interviewing and budget management, which is beneficial in my role as governor. I am a strong advocate of the school and work with the governors and teaching staff in the continual development of our children and improvement of the school. It is a privilege to be a governor at this fantastic school
