My name is Eileen Grimes and I am currently chair of governors of Esh Winning Primary school. I have been a member of the governing body for approximately 19 years.
Initially I was appointed when I was an elected councillor for Esh Winning and then transferred to a community governor. Prior to my marriage in 2007 I lived in Esh Winning and I care passionately about the education we provide for our children.
I became a governor to support staff and parents to provide the best education for our children, underpinned by strong values and principles so that when children leave our school they go forward in life with the best education, confidence and integrity, able to make their own choices on their chosen path.
