School Admissions

Esh Winning Primary School

The school has an admission limit of 38. The admission process is arranged through Durham County Council (follow the link below for further information). If the school is oversubscribed parents are referred to Durham County Council School Admissions who also deal with appeals. Children join the reception class at the beginning of the school year in which they are five. Once a child has been offered a place in our Reception class, parents are invited to several transition meetings at the school.

All visits are warmly welcomed, please arrange through the school office.

Visit the Durham County Council website for information regarding the school admission process and primary school admissions. Further information can also be found in the primary school application guidance notes.  To appeal against an admission decision visit: School admissions-appeals.

Please find below a Nursery admission form for parents.
