In Year 5, we aim to provide an inclusive environment where children are able to develop a love of learning, challenge themselves to take risks and develop resilience with the support of their peers and teachers. We actively promote the idea of ‘Growth Mindset’ so the children understand that making mistakes is an essential part of learning.
Ultimately, we want to bring learning to life so the children are prepared for life beyond the classroom
Year 5 proudly represent the school as Mini Police, School Council, at Sporting Competitions and Festivals and the Pride Youth Network.

We regularly have PE coaches from the School Sport Partnership to upskill us in various sports.
